These are the base IFGC and IRC defaults the app ships with. They are a starting point, not a ruling: your local amendments win.

Confirm with your AHJ. Jurisdictions amend these numbers, and some utilities ask for a higher pressure or a longer hold than the model code. The app says the same thing on the test screen — check first, then pump up.

Questions people ask

Does the timer keep running if I lock the phone?

Yes. The hold is measured against the wall clock, so locking the screen or leaving the app does not lose time.

Can I finish a test early?

Yes. If the gauge drops you can end the hold immediately and the certificate records a FAIL with the time it happened.

Is the certificate accepted by inspectors?

The certificate is your record of the test: pressure, hold, both gauge photos and the code section. Whether a jurisdiction accepts a photographed record instead of a witnessed test is up to that jurisdiction — ask your inspector before the appointment.

Does it work offline?

Yes, the test and the certificate are produced on the phone.
