ReflexTap · for iPhone

How fast are you, really?

Wait for the screen to flash green, then tap as fast as you can. ReflexTap measures the gap between the cue and your tap to the millisecond. Tap early and it is a false start — no cheating the clock.

What is a good reaction time?

ReflexTap grades the median of a test on this scale:

GradeMedian reaction time
Eliteunder 170 ms
Great170–209 ms
Good210–259 ms
Fair260–329 ms
Slow330 ms and over

Every reaction time measured on a phone includes the screen and the touch sensor as well as you. So the useful comparison is you against yourself, on the same phone — not against a number from another device.

Why the median, not the average

One distracted tap can drag an average up by tens of milliseconds. The median — the middle result — shows your typical speed, and the 90th-percentile time shows how consistent you are, which is what Endurance is scored on.

Free, with a one-time Pro

Quick Test is free. ReflexTap Pro, a one-time purchase, unlocks Endurance and Anticipation.
