Hold a key with your thumb, then move the bellows. A key on its own is silent, exactly like on a real accordion — the sound comes from the air.
Because Foldeon is a diatonic (bisonoric) accordion: each key has one note when the bellows open (pull) and another when they close (push). The big letter on a key is the note for the direction you are moving now; the small one below is the other direction. The button chart lists every key of every instrument.
Open Settings and move the Sensitivity slider: higher gives full sound from gentler movement. If it still feels wrong, tap “Recalibrate the Bellows” and move the way you actually play during the warm-up.
Yes: Settings → Note names. Choose C D E, Do Re Mi, or German names where B is B-flat and H is B-natural. Foldeon starts with the tradition of your language.
Tap the red record button, play for up to a minute, and tap it again. Foldeon makes a vertical video of an accordion whose bellows move the way yours did, with the pressed keys lit and the notes shown on top. Share it straight to TikTok, Instagram or Messages, or save it to Photos. Videos made without Pro carry a small “Played on Foldeon” mark.
