What this policy covers

This policy describes how the SolarDial iOS app (the "App"), published by Ilia Filiaev (the "Developer"), handles your information.

Data we collect

The App has no user accounts and does not require sign-in. It sends nothing about your places, location or settings anywhere.

Purchase history. SolarDial Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase. The App uses RevenueCat, Inc. to validate the App Store transaction and to remember that Pro is unlocked. RevenueCat receives the transaction details together with a random, anonymous app user ID created by the App, and the technical information needed to process the request (such as app and iOS version and your App Store country). This data is not linked to your name, email or Apple Account and is not used for tracking or advertising. RevenueCat processes it on the Developer's behalf under its own privacy policy. Payment itself is handled by Apple; the Developer never sees your payment details.

Data the App reads on your device

• Location (optional). Only if you tap "Use my location", the App reads a single current-location fix from Apple's CoreLocation framework to compute local sun times. It is used in memory, never stored remotely, and never transmitted. The App is fully usable without it by entering a place by hand.
• Saved places & settings. The places you add and your preferences are stored on your device using SwiftData. This data never leaves your device.

Permissions the App may request

• Location When In Use — optional, only when you choose to add your current location. No background location is used.

Third parties

The only third-party service is RevenueCat, used solely to validate SolarDial Pro purchases as described above. The App contains no advertising, attribution or tracking SDKs. No data is sold to anyone.

Children's privacy

The App is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from children or any other users.

Your rights

Your places and location never reach any server, so there is nothing to access or export on our side. You can remove all on-device data by deleting the App. To ask for the anonymous purchase record held by RevenueCat to be deleted, email us.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced in the App release notes.
