FloorQuote Privacy Policy

The short version: FloorQuote has no ads, no account and no tracking, and we do not sell any data. Your scans, rooms, clients, price book and quotes stay on your device. What does leave it is listed below: purchase data and technical details that RevenueCat, our subscription service, needs; a note to RevenueCat each time the FloorQuote Pro screen is shown; and, only if you type in an activation code, that code, which goes to our own server.

Information we collect

FloorQuote does not ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number or location, and it has no sign-in. It contains no advertising, no advertising identifiers and no tracking software, and nothing you make in the app is uploaded. The data that reaches RevenueCat or our server is described in the sections below, each with what it is used for.

Camera & LiDAR

To measure a room, FloorQuote uses the camera and LiDAR scanner on your iPhone. This processing happens entirely on your device. Scan data is used only to compute room measurements for your estimate and is never uploaded or shared.

Your jobs, products, and quotes

Client names, addresses, your price book, room measurements, and generated quotes are stored locally on your device. They are included in a PDF or a spreadsheet only when you choose to export and share one. The file is then handled by the app or service you pick, for example Mail, Messages or Files.

Subscriptions & purchase validation

FloorQuote offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, FloorQuote Pro. Purchases are processed by Apple and validated through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription-management service. To confirm and keep your subscription active, RevenueCat receives:

your purchase and receipt data from Apple;
a pseudonymous app-user identifier, a random value the app creates. It is not tied to your name, e-mail address or Apple Account, and we do not create an account for you;
the technical details RevenueCat's software adds to every request: the device model, the iOS version, the app's version and build, your preferred languages, the country of your App Store account and the identifier Apple gives this app's developer on your device (the identifier for vendor). Like any internet request, it also comes from your device's IP address.

RevenueCat does not receive your scans, room measurements, client details, price book, or quotes. Its handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.

FloorQuote Pro screen views

Each time the FloorQuote Pro screen opens with its subscription options, the app tells RevenueCat that it was shown. The note includes which set of subscription options the screen showed, the time and the same pseudonymous identifier. We use these counts only to see how many of the people who see the screen go on to subscribe. Nothing you typed or measured is in them. They are not used for advertising and are not combined with data from other companies.

Activation codes

A FloorQuote Pro subscription can also be unlocked with an activation code (Settings → Purchases → Activate a code). When you activate one, the app sends the code, the pseudonymous identifier and the app's name to our server at iliafiliaev.com. The server checks the code and asks RevenueCat to unlock Pro for that identifier. It keeps the code together with the identifiers it unlocked and the dates. That is how it limits how many devices one code can unlock, lets you free those devices, and withdraws Pro if the payment behind the code is refunded. The server uses your IP address to limit repeated attempts and does not save it with the code.

Codes are sold on iliafiliaev.com, and payments there are processed by YooKassa. For a code, the server also keeps the e-mail address given at checkout, which is needed for the receipt the law requires, and the order details: amounts, dates and YooKassa's payment references. If you turn on automatic renewal, it also keeps the time and IP address of your consent and YooKassa's reference to the saved card with its last four digits. Card details go to YooKassa and never reach us. A code we issue by hand, for example for App Review, is kept with the e-mail address it was issued to.

These records are not deleted automatically. To have yours deleted, write to the address below. We delete everything except the payment records that tax and accounting law requires us to keep.

Third parties

FloorQuote does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking software. Data reaches these companies only for the purposes described above:

Apple processes App Store purchases;
RevenueCat validates subscriptions, counts views of the FloorQuote Pro screen and unlocks Pro for activation codes;
YooKassa processes payments for codes bought on our website.

We do not sell or share your scans, rooms, quotes, or any personal information with anyone else, and we do not use any of this data for advertising.

Children

FloorQuote is a professional tool and is not directed to children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
