How do I fold?
The fold line stays where it is. Slide the paper with one finger and twist it with two until the crease you want lies on the line; the paper clicks into place when a useful crease meets it. Then drag the round knob on the fold line across the line, or tap the knob to fold at once.
Which part of the paper lifts?
By default the side with less paper. Tap the sheet to choose the other side. Press and hold to lift only the top flap under your finger.
I am stuck on a puzzle
Tap the lightbulb. If your paper is on the way to the solution it shows the next fold. If not, it tells you to undo a fold, or to turn the paper over first. Turning the sheet over is free and does not count as a fold.
How are the stars given?
Three stars if you finish with no more folds than the reference solution, two stars with one fold more, one star for solving it in more.
How does it work on iPhone Duo?
On iPhone Duo with iOS 27.1 or later the fold line is the hinge. Put a crease over the hinge and bend the phone gently like a half-open book; the flap folds down. If it feels too stiff or too loose, change Fold depth in Settings (Gentle, Normal or Deep). Closing the phone right after a fold cancels that fold. On any other iPhone or on iPad, use the knob.
What is free and what does Pro unlock?
Chapter 1 (12 puzzles), today's puzzle, free fold, three origami models (Cup, Dog, House) and three paper colours (Coral, Indigo, Saffron) are free. Orikomi Pro, a one-time purchase, unlocks chapters 2 to 4 (36 puzzles), four more models (Tulip, Envelope, Samurai Helmet, Paper Plane) and five more colours (Sakura, Matcha, Ink, Teal, Plum). There is no subscription and no advertising.
I bought Pro on another device
Open Settings and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account. Unlock is in Settings too.
How do I start over?
"Start over" on a puzzle puts the sheet back. To erase every star and all progress, use Reset progress in Settings; purchases are not affected.
