TallyTouch Privacy Policy

The short version No account, no ads, no tracking. Every count stays on your device. The only third-party service is RevenueCat, which validates TallyTouch Pro with an anonymous app user ID.

What this policy covers

This policy describes how the TallyTouch iOS app (the "App"), published by Ilia Filiaev (the "Developer"), handles your information.

Data we collect

The App has no user accounts and does not require sign-in. It sends nothing about your counters or counts anywhere.

Purchase history. TallyTouch Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase. The App uses RevenueCat, Inc. to validate the App Store transaction and to remember that Pro is unlocked. RevenueCat receives the transaction details together with a random, anonymous app user ID created by the App, and the technical information needed to process the request (such as app and iOS version and your App Store country). This data is not linked to your name, email or Apple Account and is not used for tracking or advertising. RevenueCat processes it on the Developer's behalf under its own privacy policy. Payment itself is handled by Apple; the Developer never sees your payment details.

Data the App stores on your device

Counters and counts. Your counters and their change history are stored on your device using SwiftData. This data never leaves your device and is shared only with the App's own Home Screen widget through an App Group container.
Preferences. Settings such as haptics and the default milestone interval are stored locally.

The optional volume-button mode

If you enable eyes-free counting, the App observes the system output volume level to detect hardware volume-key presses. It reads only the volume level — it does not record, request, or access microphone audio, and the App requests no microphone permission of any kind.

Permissions the App requests

None. TallyTouch requires no special permissions to run.

Third parties

The only third-party service is RevenueCat, used solely to validate TallyTouch Pro purchases as described above. The App contains no advertising, attribution or tracking SDKs. No data is sold to anyone.

Children's privacy

The App is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from children or any other users.

Your rights

Your counters never reach any server, so there is nothing to access or export on our side. You can remove all on-device data by deleting the App from your iPhone. To ask for the anonymous purchase record held by RevenueCat to be deleted, email us.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced in the App release notes.
