Common questions
I can barely feel the haptic — is something wrong?
Check Settings → Sounds & Haptics → System Haptics is enabled. The Taptic Engine is strongest on iPhone 8 and later models; older devices have a weaker pulse.
The metronome stops when I lock the phone.
That's intentional. PocketBeat has no background audio mode — the metronome only runs while the app is on screen.
Can I add more time signatures?
The current build ships with 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/8, 7/8 and 12/8 with sensible default accent patterns. We're considering a custom builder for a future update. Drop us a note if there's a meter you need.
Does the audible click interrupt other audio?
No. The audio session uses the `.ambient` category with `mixWithOthers`, so music apps and call audio continue uninterrupted.
Where is my practice history stored?
On your device, in SwiftData, and it stays there. Purchases go through the App Store. Deleting the app removes everything.
