Gatelight terms of use

Gatelight (the "App") is published by Ilia Filiaev (the "Developer"). It is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), which governs your use of the App: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

Subscription

Gatelight Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. The price is shown in the App before you subscribe (in the US, $1.99 a month or $9.99 a year; elsewhere, the matching App Store price). There is no free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase and is processed by Apple. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings, or with "Manage Subscription" in the App's Settings. Restore Purchases in Settings brings Pro back on any device signed in to the same Apple Account. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

If a subscription ends, nothing is deleted. The car you used last and your first two saved places stay active; the rest are locked until you subscribe again.

What the App is, and is not

Gatelight is an unofficial app. It is not affiliated with the French state or with any city. The rules are retold from the official orders and may change: only the order itself is binding, and on the road, the signs. The App does not take pollution peaks or personal exemptions into account. It shows the rules as checked on the date it displays and is not legal advice. It does not sell, issue or process the Crit'Air certificate; the official site for it is certificat-air.gouv.fr. You are responsible for the way you drive and park, and for any fine.

The rules file

The zones and rules the App downloads are published as open data under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0, with no further conditions. The notice and the sources are on the data page and in the App's Settings under Sources and Licenses. The licence covers the file, not the App.
